The Bricktown Project was initiated to bring an opportunity to Morado’s childhood town. After years of traveling Moradoh had a thought, Bricktown, a small community in Queens primarily of Black Americans, was actually deprived a natural food sources. Using his own resources and funding, Moradoh hosted a free Farmers Market for the locals of Bricktown to enjoy. The event lasted a half of day with fruits, vegetables and produce available along with to-go bags.

Branding
What key factor that stuck out throughout observing many events was their logo, Bricktown needed one. The labeling had to make sense for the folk of this town and the heritage behind it.
Community
During the event, we took surveys and with no surprise many people yearn for such an event to take place. The idea that many of the folk were parents and grandparents of my peers who have never seen such an event based on health be held in our community.
Legacy
The goal was to spark hope in the towns people to keep this event more consistent and grow throughout the town. It was and is key to have an event exclusively for the people of Bricktown.
